UNTIL VACATION! (Time for a vacation questionnaire.)
Where are we going? Aunt Jan's in Greendale, WI; very close to Milwaukee, WI.
How long of a drive is that? 7 hours on a good day. We're hoping both kids hold up to the drive. Jenna hasn't been in the car for that long since our last trip to Jan's when she was 5 months old.
How long will you be gone? 6 days. And I took the day after we get home from vacation off as well - you know to do the stuff that needs to be done when you get home from vacation. Grocery shopping, laundry, good naps for the kids, etc.
What will you do while you're there? Well, let's see. Eat LOTS of yummy Aunt Jan food. Drink beer/wine/etc WHENEVER we want. 10:00 a.m.? Let's have a beer. While the kids are napping? Let's sit on the patio and have a homemade mojito. We are also researching some hiking trails in the area and few new restaurants to possibly try. I did get a gift certificate to our favorite family-owned Italian restaurant out there on restaurant.com. It is a $50 g.c. and we got it for $4!!! That's lots-o delicious food for a great price. :) AND, lots of hanging out and laughing and quality time with each other and our kids. Lovely, if you ask me. Oh, and we'll probably swim a bit while we're there too.

HAVE FUN!!! i know that you LOVE your time at Aunt Jan's and i'm sure that this time will be no different. tell us all about it when you get back.
That sounds like a near perfect vacation to me, have FUN!! We will be excited to hear all about it :)
And PS how do you get a $50 GC for $4?!?!
