Today must be a day to just get through. Reece went to bed late and woke up early because he was freezing. Apparently this gives him a reason to throw a fit at the drop of a hat. That always grates on your nerves as a parent. But, he's tired. So, hopefully the nap he's taking now will help.
I did go hiking by myself this morning which was wonderful. Probably a 1 1/2 mile hike. We went to Wal-Mart to get Reece shoes because the tennis shoes we brought for him to wear are too small. Oops. We looked in vain for long sleeve shirts/sweatshirts for any or all of us. It's colder here than we thought. Not bad, just different than we planned for! :)
We also played "putt-putt Dolf" as Reece calls it. Had a blast. All of this and it's only 2 p.m. No wonder he's tired and cranky and so are we.
Nap time. Book time.
