How would you have answered him?

We were listening to David Crowder the other day while running errands and my three year old asks, "Mommy, what does 'glory' mean?"

How would you have answered him?

I put it in context of the song he was listening to and told him that 'giving God glory' meant that we were telling God how cool he is.

He seemed satisfied with that answer...

That's probably what I would've said too. These kids ask some stinkin hard questions that we ourselves just "know" but is hard to put into words. Esp toddler sized words!! (esp about God!)

i was in Bluffton and visiting Sarah (formerly schmersal) and her son is 4. i heard her explain this exact thing to her almost 5 year old.
it was something like "we can give God credit for helping us" - or something like that. but he's older.
that WAS a tough one!!
