I love you more now than ever!
A brief look at the past 8 years that I wouldn't have wanted to share with anyone else:
Surviving on mac & cheese, your McD's discount and peanut butter our first year of marriage (and gaining a ton of weight). :)
Moving to Wooster with only a part-time church job for you (our parents must have thought we were CRAZY). Learning how to live with each other only, no family in the area, and becoming best friends in a deeper way.
Driving, driving, driving; around Wooster to find a house, wearing Route 30 out between Wooster and home, to Heini's Cheese to sample cheese and fudge more times than we should have. Those drives were the times we would have our best conversations and where we learned the most about each other. We cemented our relationship on those drives.
Buying our first house and working the two years we lived in it to make it our home.
Hanging out with "our kids" in Wooster; going on service trips, having Bible study in our basement, playing with the youth band, talking to them about sex, loving them like they were our own kids.
Walking in the door from the Chicago service trip and taking a pregnancy test even before our bags were in from the car. Our life changed forever that day!
Welcoming Reece into the world and seeing you with different eyes.
Making the decision to resign from WooMenno when Reece was a couple of months old without another job secured. One of the hardest decisions we've EVER had to make, but knew God was telling us to do.
Moving back to Findlay and learning how to interact with our families on a daily/weekly basis again.
Buying our second house and spending an entire month working on it day-in and day-out. We barely saw Reece that month.
Taking our first vacation as just our small family to Spruce Lake and Hamilton's.
Proudly watching you complete your first triathlon in honor of Jared.
All of our medical stuff this past year and working hard to trust that everything was/is going to be okay.
Welcoming Jenna into the world and AGAIN seeing you with different eyes.
There are so many more memories that mean the world to me, those are just the highlights. I love you and can't wait for the next 8 years of memories and love!
